While on prac., during library time, I was wandering around the books and found this. I picked  it up and caught some of the girls attention and told them I read this book when I was little and asked if anyone wanted to borrow it! I'm hoping they got as much enjoyment out of it as I did! It was great to see some of my old books still on the shelves.

This book was one of the first books I began to read by myself and mum and I would often read it together and we'd often change some of the words in it to reflect our own lives. For example the main characters name was changed to be mine, we would call 'cart' a trolley and so forth.
We Help Mommy (Golden Book)
Jean Cushman & Eloise Wilkin
This book was also changed to reflect the names of me and my brother.

Mum and I would have arguments because, just like The Web,  I would read this book incessantly.
