This blog has been created to further my professional development during my university degree and while I complete my practicum placements. I have been allocated a Year One class for my first placement, with nineteen children in the class.
The posts include my reflections on certain topics of which I feel passionate. I have also included web links to educational pages I have used and hope to use as a teacher. Despite it being unnecessary for course requirements, I have also thought back about the books that shaped my childhood compared with those which are available now. I believe that reading is the basis for all learning and in my way, that is where I hope to start.
I can't wait to find out how these prac. placements will affect my teaching in the future.
